The PUR Plus Horizontal Faucet Mount System delivers identical filtration performance to the vertical model in a horizontal design. Certified to NSF 42, 53, and 401 standards, it removes 70+ contaminants including 99% of lead, PFAS (forever chemicals), mercury, pesticides, and pharmaceuticals. The activated carbon block filter provides 100 gallons of filtered water per replacement. Features one-click installation compatible with standard faucets (external aerators only), on/off switch for filtered or unfiltered water, and filter change indicator. The horizontal orientation works better for some sink configurations where vertical clearance is limited. NSF 401 certification specifically addresses emerging contaminants like pharmaceuticals and PFAS that many filters miss.
