Our ghee starts with the finest butter from grass-fed, pasture-raised New Zealand and Australian cows. We distill this down into its purest form, 100% butter fat. The rich, nutty flavor of our ghee elevates any dish, adding a complex and deep flavor. Isn’t Ghee just clarified butter? They do have similarities but differ in processing. Clarified butter is made by removing the water and milk solids immediately after melting. Ghee is cooked longer, allowing the milk solids to brown before going through a filtration process. Ghee tastes like butter, but better. It has a rich, deep flavor that regular butter lacks due to the browning of the milk solids during preparation. Because of this, it has a subtle, toasty flavor that elevates both savory and sweet dishes. Ghee is rich in medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) and can be a friendly fat for low-carb, ketogenic, Paleo and Whole 30 lifestyles. It’s natural, minimally processed, lactose-free, and can help promote a feeling of fullness and satisfaction. Where do your ingredients come from? Our ghee is made from grass-fed, pasture-raised New Zealand and Australian dairy. Our flavored ghees are made from real, whole ingredients that are slow steeped.
